Catharvielle, France:  Gite Auberge La Soulan  is a very cosy place, handy for walkers, a day’s hike from Luchon, and en route to the refuge at the Lac D’Oo. They are also set up for the winter ski season. A lovely couple run the place, and will feed you very well.
