Pantone Hotel, Brussels, Belgium
So the Pantone-colored coffee mugs were cool in a nerdy kind of way, but we were a little skeptical about the extension of the Pantone brand into a hotel. At Brussels’ Pantone Hotel, however, it works. Not far from the Louizalaan, and just a couple of stops on the subway from Brussel Zuid/Midi train station, it’s an excellent alternative to the bland chains near the Grand Place, but still provides easy access to the rest of the city. Standard rooms aren’t huge, but are they comfortable, and, naturally, each have a color palette. With availability under €100 – during slow spells closer to €50, it’s a great deal. Larger rooms, and rooms with balconies are also available.
As of August 2012, they were advertising an upgrade (when available) if you book direct through their website.
